4C Holds Inaugural Charity Golf Event

August 5, 2024. Mount Prospect, Illinois.

Clover Children’s Charity NFP (4C) held its first major fundraising event August 5 at Old Orchard Country Club benefiting the Children’s Organ Transplant Association Hope Fund (COTA). Golfers from as far away as New York attended to assist raising while enjoying a fun day of golf and networking.

Clever Clover’s mission is to increase awareness and support for charitable organizations who are assisting children and their families on serious medical-related journeys, which in some cases, can last into adulthood and be lifelong.

The day began with lunch and a chip & putt contest, followed by a shotgun start for the golf foursomes at noon. The sun was shining and the weather was nearly tropical, and spirits were high around the course as the players made their way around.

The evening concluded in the clubhouse with a delectable dinner served by the Old Orchard staff, some words from COTA Executive Director of Development, and 4C Founder & Director Wade Wrobel thanking the sponsors, players and volunteers for participating in an event that was a gathering to launch the Clever Clover mission.

“This inaugural golf scramble was foundational to share our vision with the community,” said Wrobel of the importance of the event. “We look forward to welcoming more participants in our next event so we can increase our support for families, so they can focus on helping their kids get well.”

4C’s next major fundraising event is scheduled for Spring 2025 with more details to come soon on social media and at www.clevercloverkids.com .
